Dangerous Rhetoric? Hands-Down Winners: Mainstream Media and the Left. I Have the Receipts.
Could the incessant demonization and threats against Trump have contributed to the assassination attempt on his life? Not sure, but take a look at the examples I provide, and you be the judge.
I have been reluctant to weigh in on what might be the reason for a deranged 20-year old to attempt to murder the presumptive Republican presidential nominee at a rally in Butler, PA on July 13. (And let’s not even discuss how he was able to get THAT close to Trump and take part of his ear off with a high-powered rifle—as well as kill a rallygoer, Corey Comperatore, and critically injure two others.) Suffice it to say, heads need to roll at the Secret Service.
But, we have to recognize that for YEARS, the democrats, celebrities, and mainstream media have called for Trump to be harmed and/or killed--with no repercussions.
When you say someone is a threat to democracy and refer to them as Hitler, or akin to Hitler, for years, it’s going to sink in for some people. (Though, how anyone can compare Trump to a homicidal maniac like Hitler is beyond me.)

From X:
From
’s Substack article, “We are all Americans.”In addition to magazine covers, articles, and social media posts, there are videos that have captured many of these people spewing their pugilistic vitriol against Trump and his supporters. I would hazard a guess that if Trump and his supporters uttered even 10% of what they have endured, against Biden and his supporters, the full weight of consternation and exacerbated caterwauling from the corporate media, democrat leadership and celebrities would be felt and propagated 24/7. But that is not the world we live in right now.
Below, I have extracted some representative quotes from a compilation video of well-known people uttering threats against Trump.
“I’d like to punch him in the face.”—Robert De Niro
“When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?”—Johnny Depp
“They are still going to have to go out there and put a bullet in Donald Trump and that’s a fact.”—Lincoln Project’s Rick Wilson
“Where is John Wilkes Booth when you need him?”—An elderly woman
“I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.”—Madonna
In addition to quotes, there is an enactment of a Trump character being stabbed to death, another one being “shot”, and a comedienne holding “Trump’s” decapitated head.
Video is 2:13.

Some additional quotes/threats toward Trump (and two Supreme Court justices) from the short video below; there is some overlapping footage from the first video:
“…Donald Trump, I think you need to go back and punch him in the face.”—Senator Jon Tester
“I feel like punching him.”—Cory Booker
“I wanna tell you Gorsuch! I wanna tell you Kavanaugh! You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price!”—Chuck Schumer
“This is just a warning to you Trumpers: Be careful; walk lightly. [Pause] And for those of you who are soldiers, make them pay.”—Michigan State Rep. Cynthia A. Johnson
The article below also has some overlap with the above videos; however, I have included photos as opposed to quotes to underscore the bile.

Some examples from the above article:
Does Trump and his supporters sometimes use careless and reckless words? Absolutely.
Do the words from the Right have the same magnification as words from the Left? Not even close.
The Left has the presidency’s bully pulpit, most of the corporate media, and Hollywood as supporters. Those three combined can reach an audience the Right can only dream of possessing. It truly is hard to compete with such a powerful propaganda machine.
So, when they say we should tone down the rhetoric on both sides or “lower the temperature” as Biden recently implored, I am in agreement. But just remember: one side’s rhetoric is a helluva lot more powerful and dangerous in reaching the masses than the other’s—and that means the bearing of more responsibility to be circumspect in what is uttered.
That was pretty thorough. I will repost this.
Fantastic compilation. History will show who the real fascists were. Government censorship, political persecutions, population replacement, anti-semitism, encouraging crime against the middle class, media propaganda, medical mandates, and illegal military operations. Hint: that’s all under Biden-Harris.
